About KWake
Experience the Thrill of Foiling with KWake
During the Covid shutdown, when the Keys were an isolated oasis guarded by a road block at the very top of the island chain, a group of friends embarked on a journey to master the art of foiling. Practicing almost every day, they honed their skills in various disciplines of foiling, including tow foil, wake foil, wing foil, kite foil, and e-foil.
With over 20 years of on-the-water experience, KWake is committed to sharing the unique thrill of foiling. We believe that anyone can learn, and our tested setup allows even those with no watersports background to experience the thrill of flight on a foil within a few attempts.

Our Services
There’s Truly Nothing Like It
We offer instructional and recreational tow and wake-foil experiences, designed for both beginners and seasoned watersport enthusiasts. Our services are more than just lessons; they are a journey into the exhilarating world of foiling, where you can experience the unique thrill of flight over the water.
Tow foiling and wake foiling are among the best ways to learn the fundamentals of foiling. Without the added complexity of wind or waves, riders can focus entirely on balance, foil control, and technique – skills that build the foundation for wing foiling, kite foiling, surf foiling, and beyond.

Frequently asked questions
Paragraph
What should I bring?
Make sure to bring water to hydrate and proper sun protection (spray sunscreens are NOT allowed on the boat). A towel and change of clothes are highly recommended for when we return to the dock.
How can I prepare?
Stretching before foiling is a really good idea. Being able to comfortably kneel down and sit back on your ankles is one of the easiest ways to foil for your first time (although not the only way!). Some upper body strength is also important to lift yourself onto the foil board after a fall.
Can anyone do it?
Our tested setup has proven to be highly accessible for most participants.
Can I get hurt?
We provide all necessary safety equipment, including lifejackets, helmets, and even neoprene socks to protect your feet in case of contact with the foil.
Is there a motor/propeller on the foil board?
No! Tow foiling uses the propulsion of the boat to pull the foil board allowing it to fly. This is the closest feeling you can get to kite and wing foiling – allowing you to build skills that transfer to nearly all other foil disciplines.
